What We Believe
Our Mission is to Worship God, Grow Together, and Love Others.
Worship God
We are All Designed to be in a Relationship with the Holy, Triune God and this relationship finds its fullest expression in worship. As Christians, worship involves celebrating this relationship by praising the God of grace for who he is for what he’s done, and for what he promises to do. This all finds its expression in our weekly corporate worship as we come together to follow the rhythms of Jesus’ life through the reading of Holy Scripture, the prayers of the people, the profession of our faith, the celebration of Holy Communion, and singing songs of praise. As we worship together we’re nourished and strengthened to love God and our neighbors in daily life.
Grow Together
The Purpose of Life is to Become Fully Human Like Jesus Was. It goes without saying that this is impossible if we’re separated from him, but it also won’t happen outside of community. Through the community of the Church, we establish such relationships and foster them through corporate worship, small groups and studies, serving each other, caring and praying for each other, sharing our lives together, and by loving others outside the church with Jesus’ love.
Love Others
The Holy, Triune God is a Community of Love. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are continually interacting through profound and eternal love for each other. God’s grace and love is always going somewhere. As we worship him and grow together, the grace and love that we receive is meant to pour out from us into our homes, work places, friendships, community, and the world. As a church, we partner with global mission agencies and missionaries, along with local ministries and organizations that are engaged in sharing the gospel and are engaged in ministries of mercy.
